personally i hate splashing a 3rd color. He got stuck multiple times with Banshee in hand wanting a 3rd black sorce (or even a 2nd black source sometimes) and splashing for a white it just making it worse. Especially with all the double red you already have in the traitorous bloods. Need to add crappy manafixing to the deck, diluting your strategy further. And in the end he plays against 3 white decks in a row, only seeing a few werewolves.
All that said, personally I'd still probably pick 2 the slayer lol. But you'd be drafting a totally different deck that's all.
If you would have taken the time to assess your situation like you did in the other matches, you would have a great chance of winning the whole thing. And what was your reasoning on taking the Geistcatcher's Rig pack 2 pick 1? Slayer of the Wicked is something I almost always splash in a deck. Was it because you were determined to stay on color? Or that you passed a whole bunch of white cards pack 1?
Kenny Fung Geistcatcher is an auto-include in any deck. While the Slayer is certainly VERY strong, since I was already committing myself to r/b I did not want to splash (however easily it may end up being). R/B have a ton of cards that either require double mana symbols or activated abilities that require mana. I did pass a ton of white, but that is largely negligible if you are simply splashing the card
