Quick Thoughts
This is an experimental format, so hopefully, we can get some solid feedback on whether this style of video has any appeal. These videos are more about entertainment than education. As for my thoughts on the games themselves, I have not had the chance to review them, but I did want to emphasize one major mistake. In Game 3 of the UW match, I kept a hand of Preordain, Chalice and 5 lands. Without thinking too hard, I snap-kept and that was obviously a mistake. I attribute the mistake to the fact that I thought the Chalice was an early business spell when it should simply be considered as basically a land. I definitely would never keep Preordain and 6 lands.
A lot of people have this idea that Valakut is an easy deck to play and I have to agree with my boy Phil Samms (@psamms) that this is simply not true. We were both watching the SCG top 8 this past weekend where the Valakut player made numerous sub-optimal plays and I am pretty sure Phil is going to need a vomit bag to get through my Valakut video. Every deck has its nuances that can be only be understood after some amount of experience.
