Face to Face Games Toronto hosted the Regional Pro Tour Qualifier for Pro Tour Dominaria in Richmond, Virginia this past Saturday. Four players left the building with Pro Tour invites.

Congratulations to GTA locals Edgar Magalhaes, Morgan McLaughlin and Jamie Archdekin on their qualifications. Alex Bianchi, who’s been a common guest on ManaDeprived’s First Strike Podcast, made the trip to the city and qualified as well.

The players battled in Rivals of Ixalan Sealed during the swiss portion of the event, followed by a Top 8 Draft. As you can see by the decklists below these Top 4 players were able to put together solid Draft decks to cement their key win to make the Pro Tour in Top 8.

Morgan in particular was able to wrangle together a sweet U/G deck featuring both Entrancing Melody and Hadana’s Climb.

This Top 4 is particularly sweet for Edgar, who showed great poise in locking in his qualification. Edgar had multiple chances for a match win to qualify him for Richmond at the Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan but came up just short.

Congratulations to our Top 4 and the rest of our Top 8, who earned a qualfication for the next RPTQ.
