At Pro Tour Barcelona, Brian David-Marshall said that one of the biggest stories of the tournament was not just Alexander Hayne and the Miracle deck. He was actually also very impressed by the emergence of teams that were not called Team Channel Fireball.
We actually got to see many different teams. For example, Star City Games got two teams together and they each had at least one member make the top 8. BDM was also excited by teams such as Team Panik which was a squad headlined by Matthias Hunt and Micheal Hetrick.
We here at Mana Deprived also had a team and we are proud to say that one of our very own ended up winning the tournament. For Pro Tour Return to Ravnica, Hayne and company decided to go with a smaller team for more effective testing. For those of you want to follow our team, here are the names to keep your eye on:

Of course, there’s also another team of Canadians that we are supporting. They call themselves the B Team, though in actuality, it’s more because their actual team name reveals their Modern deck choice, so we have to keep it on the down-low.
